The location is amazing, very close to the main city-centre and only 15 mins walk from the Porta Nuova Train Station. The lady on check-in was very kind and helpful and explained how everything worked clearly. The room was basic, but exactly what I needed as a solo traveler.

Excellent all-around! I let them know in advance I would be checking in later (around 8:30) to catch the Verona opera, and they sent advance instructions on how to check in. Really clean facilities and perfect for a one-night stay in Verona!

Staff contacted me via WhatsApp a short while before I was set to arrive, vey helpful if you need help or info about getting to the hotel. On arrival I was welcomed and shown around, given a map and useful info about the city. The room (on the street side) was spacious, clean and comfortable. It held a double bed, a single bed, a table and chairs, a comfy chair, a desk and a small wardrobe. The bed was comfortable, if a little harder than I'm used to. I slept well in it anyway. There were shutters before the windows that effectively kept out all the lights at night, but even if you open them no one can look in because of the sheer curtains. Privacy provided with a stylish and cosy look. I booked a room with a shared bathroom. There were two large bathrooms next to each other, both clean and well-equiped. They are shared only by a few rooms, meaning you are unlikely to have to wait to be able to use the bathroom. There is a coffee and tea service in the hallway that you can use at any time, plus a small microwave which was surprisingly powerful. Teabags, sugar, sweeteners etc are provided. The hotel is in an excellent location, in a side street off a larger road (where you will find ample choice in restaurants and cafés), only a few minutes walk from Piazza Bra, so very central. If you walk straight ahead from the front door, there is a small park where you will find a friendly café frequented by locals, underground parking and a sizeable Aldi. I walked from the train station with a backpack, and though I'm not athletic by any means that took me only about 10 minutes. The route is safe to walk and simple to navigate with Google Maps. Mostly you walk up the large Via Porta Nuova, which has very wide sidewalks on either side, then turn right near the end. You will then find the hotel on your right. There is a small elevator, useful with luggage or when you've been out walking all day. All in all very good value for money, I would definitely recommend!

Perfect location for Piazza Bra and the Arena for the Opera Festival. I've stayed here before and liked it. The coffee machine and water dispenser are a great bonus. Staff are friendly and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Overall a great base for exploring Verona.

Great sized room, really clean and comfortable. Great location, 10 mins walk from the arena. Staff were very helpful, we left our luggage before check in and for the whole day afterwards. Kettle, coffee machine and microwave for general use as well as a few plates and cutlery. A great find!
